10.14 Additional Sales Features
*This document will briefly describe how a few of the smaller changes added to version 10.14 work. These new features are available in 10.14.0 and later.
Unsold Deal Plugin
Optimization has recently been completed on the Unsold Deal plugin, resulting in quicker Workplan dashboard load times, as well as an increased functionality.
This is available in versions 10.14.7 and up.

Previous Functionality -
The system would generate tasks for all unsold deals, for all time, so long as consent had not expired. For Canadian dealerships abiding by CASL non-transactional consent timeframes, tasks would only generate for contacts with deals created within the past 6 months, if they have not interacted with the dealership since their initial sales opportunity, or expressed consent to be contacted.
New Functionality -
The Unsold Deal plugin will only generate tasks for deals created in the past 1 year. Best practice recommendation would dictate that dealers should review the Open Deal dashboard page, and change the statuses on stale deals to so that they can be appropriately followed up on using the Cancelled Deal plugin, however, many dealerships have a large open deal count, often with deals that are over 1 year old. When querying, timeouts can occur when the system is searching against abnormally large datasets for tasks to generate. This change will decrease load times and ensure that stale deals are not being included where they shouldn't be. For Canadian dealerships abiding by CASL non-transactional consent timeframes, this will not result in a noticeable impact on the number of tasks generated.
Status Date

Previous Functionality -
When running off of the Status Date, the Unsold Deal plugin would previously generate tasks for all open deals, from all time, based on status changes.
New Functionality -
The Unsold Deal plugin will now only generate tasks for deals that have had status changes within the past year, regardless of the created date. This will decrease load times while also allowing for dealers to re-activate deals from any timeframe, at their own discretion, without causing any interruptions in task generation.
