10.15 Parts Latency

*Latency refers to how much time it takes for information to get from one point to another. The more that time can be reduced, the better devices can communicate with each other; minimizing delays and optimizing efficiency. This document will outline behaviour changes introduced in 10.15.0 with the Parts Latency Project.

Parts Inventory

When updating Parts Inventory counts, changes will automatically save once entered, reducing conflicts when multiple users are modifying counts at the same time. The information will update on each users screen in real-time. If there are conflicts, an icon will appear and let you reload the data or overwrite it.

Standardizing

*The changes below have been made for consistency of design standards in the software.

The Group selection in Part Maintenance has been changed to a drop-down search.
