10.20 Tire Storage Details
KB 2865, Release Note, Service Development, 7/24/2024
Version 10.20 introduces an exciting enhancement to our Tire Storage functionality! Dealerships now have the ability to delve further into tire details, capturing comprehensive information about tire conditions and specifications. This improvement is made possible by the addition of new columns to both the Tire Storage Entry Window and Tire Storage Dashboard, resulting in more precise records and enabling comprehensive tracking and reporting capabilities.
Furthermore, the tire marking-out process has been improved with a new prompt, which presents a list of default reasons, streamlining the procedure for Users.
Tire Storage Entry Window - Additional Columns
Dealerships now have the capability to input additional information in the
Tire Storage Entry window.
This includes the addition of supplementary columns for
Model, Speed Rating, DOT, RFT, Tire Condition, and Rim Condition.
The fields for
Model, Speed Rating, DOT, and RFT
are now editable. When Users enter the first value, the subsequent rows automatically fill with the same value. Additionally, hovering over the DOT and RFT columns provides Users with helpful information about the column.
Tire Condition
and
Rim Condition
are drop-down fields with selectable options, allowing Users to choose from a pre-defined list. Each row for these columns operates independently and does not auto-fill based on the first value.
Example:
Tire Condition Selectable List
The
On Rim
field has been expanded to include additional options.
The
Tire Storage Dashboard
now includes all the newly added columns mentioned earlier. Users can effortlessly incorporate these columns into their dashboard display using the right-click customization option.
Tire Storage Dashboard - Marking Out Tires Default Reasons Added
When
marking out tires
from storage, a prompt has been introduced, allowing Service Advisors to choose a
reason
from a
pre-defined
list. This feature facilitates the tracking of the Customer's tires and identifying opportunities to encourage them to return for storage at a later time. It also serves as a backup, providing insight into the reasons for tire removal if needed in the future.
When choosing the
Mark Tires Out
option from the right-click menu on the Tire Storage Dashboard, a confirmation prompt will appear.
Upon confirmation, the
Requires A Valid Reason
window opens, where you can select a reason from the default list.
Choosing the
Other
option will prompt Users to enter a reason in a free-text field.
When generating the
Marked Out Tires Report,
the information includes the
Reason,
enabling the identification of trends based on the reasons provided.
