Notifications

Introducing a redesigned Notification system to improve communication and speed up daily workflows:

• Bulk actions by department are now available via right-click context menus, allowing users to manage multiple notifications at once.

• Clear, actionable controls on each item (Flag, Pin, Eye, and Bin) for priority placement, visibility, and secure deletion.

• Smarter organization with auto-routing to Important, departmental pinning, read/unread tracking and timestamps.

• Stronger safeguards with permanent-delete protection and reversible status changes for follow-ups.

KB 3345 10.23 Audit Log Changes

User Password Encryption

For enhanced security, all User passwords are now fully encrypted . When logging into the database, the system uses the encrypted version of the password for authentication. Because of this change:

• The original (unencrypted) password can no longer be displayed in the User screen.

• Passwords are Case-Sensitive - for example, Password, password, and PASSWORD will each encrypt to different values and are treated as unique passwords.

This improvement ensures stronger protection of User credentials and aligns with modern security best practices.
